Dried Squid

Dried Squid for sale outside of Haedong Yonggungsa Temple near Busan, South Korea.

Yesterday I posted a Picture of the Day about Daegu’s famed cow intestines, and that reminded me of this neat picture I took last year. When I went and explored Haedong Yonggungsa Temple near Busan, there were many street vendors selling some other foods that struck me as odd at the time. Here is some dried squid. It is actually pretty common across the country. In fact, most convenient stores sell some form of squid – usually a squid jerky or something very similar. Would you eat this? Which would you prefer, squid of cow intestines?
