I was inspired by yesterday’s Picture of the Day about dried squid. I went back through a few other pictures from my trip to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple and found a couple neat ones (so expect a couple more the next few days!). A lot of the temples that I have visited have been decorated in a similar fashion, and I am not aware of the symbolism of significance. I suppose I should take the time to actually learn something. Anyways, I thought this picture looked neat so I wanted to post it.
